Past perfect Continuous Tense in Hindi
जिस वाक्य के अंत में से – रहा था, से – रहे थे और से – रही थी आए, वह past perfect continuous tense कहलाता है। जैसे – वह दो साल से स्कूल जा रहा था। (He was going to school for two years.)
Affirmative Forms –
Past perfect continuous tense के affirmative sentences में verb की 1st form और helping verb had been का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
Structure –
Subject + had + been + (Verb I + ing) + Object + since/ for + ….
Example –
| I had been going to school since Monday. | मैं सोमवार से स्कूल जा रहा था। |
| He had been going to school for three years. | वह तीन साल से स्कूल जा रहा था। |
| She had been going to school since morning. | वह सुबह से स्कूल जा रही थी। |
| We had been going to school for a week. | हम एक हफ्ते के लिए स्कूल जा रहे थे। |
| You had been going to school since 9 O’clock. | आप 9 बजे से स्कूल जा रहे थे। |
| They had been going to school since January 2005. | वे जनवरी 2005 से स्कूल जा रहे थे। |
Negative Forms –
Past perfect continuous tense के negative sentences में ‘not’ का प्रयोग पहली helping verb के बाद किया जाता है। इसे समझने के लिए आप sentence structure देख सकते है।
Structure –
Subject + had + not + been + (Verb I + ing) + Object + since/ for + ….
Example –
| I had not been going to school since Monday. | मैं सोमवार से स्कूल नहीं जा रहा था। |
| He had not been going to school for three years. | वह तीन साल से स्कूल नहीं जा रहा था। |
| She had not been going to school since morning. | वह सुबह से स्कूल नहीं जा रही थी। |
| We had not been going to school for a week. | हम एक हफ्ते से स्कूल नहीं जा रहे थे। |
| You had not been going to school since 9 O’clock. | आप 9 बजे से स्कूल नहीं जा रहे थे। |
| They had not been going to school since January 2005. | वे जनवरी 2005 से स्कूल नहीं जा रहे थे। |
