Past Perfect Tense in Hindi –
जो घटनायें भूतकाल में घट चुकी हो, उन घटनाओ को दर्शाने के लिए past perfect tense का प्रयोग किया जाता है अथवा जिस वाक्य के अंत में चुका था, चुकी थी, चुके थे अथवा या था, ये थे और ई थी आए, वह past perfect tense कहलाता है। जैसे – राम के आने से पहले मैं स्कूल जा चुका था। (I had gone to school before Ram came.) Past perfect tense को गहराई से समझने के लिए उसके main uses को समझे।
Main Uses of Past Perfect Tense in Hindi
Past Perfect Tense का प्रयोग उन घटनाओं के लिए किया जाता है जो भूतकाल में घट चुकी थीं या उसके बाद कोई और घटना घटित हुई। यह भूतकाल में हुई घटनाओं के क्रम को स्पष्ट करता है। चलिए past perfect tense के main uses के साथ समझते है।
Showing Sequence of Past Events
Past perfect tense का सबसे आम उपयोग भूतकाल में एक घटना के घटने से पहले दूसरी घटना के घटने को दर्शाना है। यह उदाहरण से समझते है:

Sentence Structures

Past perfect tense के affirmative sentences में heling verb ‘had’ के साथ verb की 3rd form का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

Negative Forms –
Past perfect tense के negative sentences में helping verb ‘had’ के बाद not का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
